Saturday
Andie and the Blue Van
another drawing in my "andie series." 9" x 12" pencil and marker on

distance, which much of my work is about lately.

Andie and the Red Diamonds
"andie and the red diamonds" 9" x 12" pencil and marker on paper. this
is the first piece of a new drawing series, entitled the "andie

something that we don't.

more drawings
these drawings have been a lot of fun for me to make. they are part
interior, part still life, and part nature illustration. i don't know
where they are coming from, but i'm just going to go with it and see
what happens. See and download the full gallery on posterous
Friday
me and my drawings
these are part of my new drawing series. each piece is 5" x 7", ink,
marker, and pencil on paper. they are part interior, part still life,
and very graphic. i've been trying to make simple, elegant drawings,
but they all come out very colorful and busy. i guess i can't fight my
own style. See and download the full gallery on posterous

+new painting+ "Waterfall #1"
I decided that I am going to do a new series of paintings of things that I find interesting, so I made a list. I've always enjoyed waterfalls, and so waterfalls are the first subject that I am exploring. Here is the first painting, aptly titled "Waterfall #1." There are lots of layers and depth, and I used many different ways to apply the paint, it ended up pretty neat looking.
