this one is called "time will bring you everything." it is 5" x 7"
marker on card stock. i think the influence in this drawing series is
three-fold: the ecstatic color of impressionistic work, language as
art in mayan hieroglyphs, along with the communicatory aspects of
graffiti.

new work
recently i've been very interested in the process of mark making and
in these pieces i used a great variety of lines, colors, and organic
and architectural forms. they are all small drawings, but i imagine
they would translate well into really large paintings. it would be a
lot of fun to make big paintings again, once i have the space!
